The Summer Mac
Jacket: Native Youth (similar)
T-shirt: ASOS
Trousers: COS
Flats: M&S
As usual, Manchester doesn't know what to do with the weather, throwing my entire wardrobe into question. This Native Youth mac has proved somewhat of a saviour for those days when sun and rain come in equal measure, especially when paired with loose pieces like this simple grey tee and relaxed tailored COS trousers. A pair of slip-ons are never far away for me either, and this M&S pair have become new favourites.
Wide Leg Trousers and Grey Tee
T-shirt: ASOS
Belt: ASOS
Trousers: Uniqlo
Converse: Coggles
These wide leg trousers from Uniqlo have got a lot of airtime from me over the past few months, but they're one of the easiest (and comfiest) things to wear. I wore this look to the opening of the new Footasylum store in Leeds last week, opting to wear them with a simple grey tee and trusty Converse 70s, adding a belt to create a bit of definition in an otherwise-loose silhouette.
Relaxed Shirting
Shirt: Neon Rose
Jeans: COS
Shoes: Zara
Oh I love a good sample sale buy. I got this shirt a couple of weeks ago at the Native Youth/Neon Rose sample sale for a solid £5 and it's become one of those really easy pieces for me to just throw on with some jeans or relaxed trousers - especially on those (rare) warmer days.
Palm Print Dress over Jeans
Dress: Zara (similar)
Jeans: Weekday
Shoes: Carvela
This is the second time in as many weeks that this palm print dress has featured on the blog, but it's safe to say that I can't get enough. It still feels a bit too summery to be wearing in Manchester though, so I've been wearing it over jeans and pairing with flats to make it a bit more city-friendly.
Navy Basics
Top: A.P.C. (similar)
Trousers: Uniqlo (similar)
Sandals: Zara
If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know I'm partial to a good basic. Those pieces you can wear time and again, mixing them up with other styles to create new looks and silhouettes. I bought these trousers and top when we were in Sydney and they've become my failsafe go-tos, especially on those early morning weekdays. These Uniqlo trousers are just the right blend of tailored yet casual, while the thick cotton of this A.P.C. top turns it from an everyday tee into something slightly more elevated.
