Casual Layers at London Fashion Week
Top: COS
T-shirt: DKNY
Jeans: Weekday
Shoes: ASOS
This is another look from my trip to London last week, when we took the day off from Fashion Week for a few hours of long lunches, the Design Museum (the new building is incredible - highly recommended) and walking around in the sunshine. An easy, casual look was the only way to go, in the form of my trusty Weekday jeans and a couple of layered lightweight tops - I bought this men;s COS top in the sale while in Copenhagen a couple of weeks ago and it's proved to be a great everyday piece when a t-shirt is too little, and a knit too much.
Khaki Jacket at LFW
Jacket: Monki (similar)
Dress: Theory
Jeans: ASOS
Shoes: Zara
I've just got back from London Fashion Week, an incredible but hectic few days of seeing the new collections, writing show reports and running around London. It's always busy (it's definitely not as glamorous as it looks) so when it comes to dressing I like to keep things as simple as possible.
This Monki jacket has become one of my wardrobe staples in the past month or so, plus it's the perfect lightweight piece for the unseasonably warm weather that we had in London over the last few days.
Monochrome Tunic and Trousers
Tunic: Zara
Necklaces: ol & co
Trousers: COS
Shoes: ASOS
A couple of weeks ago I shot these images with the lovely Jessica Beardmore for new jewellery brand ol & co; a collection of simple, modern classics. When it comes to jewellery I tend to just wear a couple of subtle pieces, so these dainty necklaces are perfect for my style and are an easy way to update my everyday looks. In this instance it's the easy monochrome tunic and cropped trouser combination that I revisit time and again - and will no doubt continue to do so.
Boyfriend Coat in Copenhagen
Hat: ASOS
Scarf: ASOS
Coat: McQ Alexander McQueen
Jumper: & Other Stories
Jeans: ASOS
Boots: Zara
This is my final look from my trip to Copenhagen, on a particularly cold day when the only thing to do was wear pretty much everything in my suitcase. My favourite season for fashion is Autumn/Winter but I must admit I'm running out of ways to wear big coats, boots and thick layers...bring on summer.
Camel Coat at Copenhagen Fashion Week
Coat: Front Row Shop
Blazer: c/o PrettyLittleThing
Jumper: Zara
Trousers; COS
Boots: Zara
This was second look from this season's Copenhagen Fashion Week, on an especially cold and windy day when a lot of layers were required. I dug this coat out from last winter to add a bit of (very neutral) colour to an otherwise all-black outfit, but the main thing I was going for here was keeping everything pretty oversized without looking super bulky.
COS Jumpsuit at Copenhagen Fashion Week
Jumper: & Other Stories
Jumpsuit: COS
Trainers: Vans
I've just got back from an incredible for few days at Copenhagen Fashion Week for work. This was my fourth season at CPHFW and it seems to be getting bigger and bigger each time, with the whole city now seemingly taken over by the event.
Copenhagen has to be one of my (if not the) favourite European cities. I feel instantly at home there every time I go and could happily spend my days in the candlelit cafes, so any excuse to go over there is very well received (speaking of, I really need to update my travel guides). This is the outfit I wore on the first day of Fashion Week, opting for comfort for running around the city, with this tailored COS jumpsuit that was a recent sale buy and my trusty Vans.
