Post-holiday blues
Dress: Monki
Necklace: Asos
Sunglasses: Primark
I'm back after a lovely week away and the post-holiday blues have definitely hit hard. I spent the week in a little place called Collioure in the South of France with my family and did nothing but lie in the sun, read a few books (I realise I'm a bit late to the party on this one but Gone Girl is brilliant - I couldn't put it down), eat a lot of good food and drink a lot of good wine. Perfect. Now back to the real world!
Au revoir
Good morning lovely readers, I'm off to the South of France for a week, yay! Really in need of a holiday and can't wait to get some much needed sun and gorge on wine and cheese for a week (why do we go mad for that bikini body only to reverse it all in one week on holiday?!)
I will be saying sayonara to the internet for a week to completely switch off, but normal blogging/ramblings about food and clothes on Twitter will resume next week.
Shopcade: the new way to shop
A new innovative way of online shopping has come to the fore in the way of Shopcade. A little bit like Pinterest, you can recommend products and see what other people you follow are recommending; CEO Nathalie Gaveau describes it as 'entering a mall with a thousand friends'.
When you've picked the things you want, you can create a list and Shopcade will show you the best deals for that product. All the things you want in one place and a possible bargain too? Yes please!
There are loads of brands and it really does cater for everyone, but here are some of my favourite picks from the site:
What's more, etail PR are holding a competition in conjunction in Shopcade to win a £200 Asos voucher AND a £200 voucher to use on Shopcade. To enter, click here

Blue and white
Coat: Zara
Top: Whistles
Necklace: Spitalfields Market
Jeans: Zara
Clutch: Gift
Shoes: Zara
Hope you've all had a laverly weekend, I have just moved flats so most of my spare time at the moment is taken up unpacking boxes and trying to get settled...it's a bit ridiculous how much stuff I actually have. Who knew one girl needed so many beauty products/shoes/clothes/general crap?
Stone Roses
Jacket: H&M
Tee: Zara
Jeans: Zara
Boots: Kurt Geiger
Rings: Asos
Last weekend The Stone Roses took over Finsbury Park and we joined the throng of fans at their gig on Friday night...these photos were quickly taken before they came on!
How cute is this jacket? I thought it was quite Isabel Marant-y which is fitting seeing as her collab with H&M was announced this morning. This is seriously the most exciting collaboration I have heard of in a long time. I am obsessed with Isabel Marant, alas I am far too poor to afford any of her stuff. To be able to get some of her pieces at a high street price will be amazing and I won't be afraid to get my elbows out when her collection hits stores (14th November apparently)...ladies, be warned.
What's in your handbag?
Money Supermarket are back with another competition (details here) and this time the prize is a Mulberry Bayswater, phone case AND purse. If that's not all, FashionPerks are giving six runners up ASOS vouchers worth £25!
I always love seeing these posts on other people's blogs because I love a good nose but always thought the contents of my bag were pretty boring so haven't bothered in the past. This opportunity is too bloody good to miss, however, so here goes...
I'm obsessed with oversized clutches and have been using them as my every day bag for a while now. It does mean that I have to carry less stuff around though (only a good thing) so now I only take the real essentials. This one from Mirka Design on Etsy (£30) is the perfect size and goes with almost any outfit.
And finally, my William Morris notebook from Paperblanks (£11.99) for jotting down ideas when they come to me in creative moments; La Roche Posay Anthelios Melt-in cream (£14.50) now that the sun has graced us with its presence and it's time to start protecting my skin; and a small tube of Benefit's They're Real! mascara (£9.99) for brightening up eyes when I've been staring at my computer for too long...
Total worth: £120.98

My purse, of course! Not sure why I've got such a big one because all I carry is cards but I love the colours of this one from River Island (£17).
Bee Lovely hand cream from Neal's Yard (£10). Gorgeous smell and keeps my hands nice and soft!
Chewing gum (£2) for getting rid of tea-breath; cocoa butter Vaseline (£2); and Hoola by Benefit (£23.50) for touch ups during the day.

GFW 2013
This week Earl's Court in London has been taken over by recent fashion graduates showing off the product of their few years of slog at University...that's right, it's Graduate Fashion Week.
I went along on Sunday for the first day of the event and was in awe of some of the amazing talent...I can just about sew a button so seeing people create full collections is incredible; I'm sure a lot of them will go far and it will be exciting to see what happens for them in the next few years.
Here are just a few of the pieces that particularly caught my eye...

I didn't catch the graduate behind this but they were from Nottingham Trent!
Woy Goz representing international students from Istituto Marangoni
Sian Doogan from Newport Uni
Siddra from Newport Uni
And yours truly was snapped by Phoenix Magazine for their street style pages...
Top: Zara (as seen in my Best buys post)
Trousers: Zara

Clutch: Whistles
Have you been to GFW this week? What did you think?
Best buys: May
- White faux leather top from Zara - I'm loving leather for spring/summer and this white top is perfectly lightweight so it's not too hot (not that there's much danger of that happening in good ol' Blightly) Plus the mesh sides give it a great bit of detail. Expect to see this is in an outfit post soon!
- Fine gold rings from Asos - I have been wearing this rings so much, I love how delicate they are but make a big impact when worn on multiple fingers. Previously seen on the blog here
- Orangeade lipstick from Models Own - I sang this lipstick's praises in this post. Absolutely love it and have been wearing it with everything this month!
