Orange
Dress (worn as top): Topshop
Skirt: River Island
Shoes: Kurt Geiger
Sunglasses: Primark
Cuff: Boutique in Cape Town
Nothing quite like an injection of bright orange to brighten up our dismal British spring! This isn't normally a colour I'd go for but I just fell in love with it in the shop and I'm really loving full skirts at the moment...something so girly yet ladylike about them.
On a different note, there has been a bit of a hoo-ha with Google Reader (I'm still not entirely sure what this means for GFC), but you can still follow me via bloglovin' and read my daily ramblings about nothing in particular on twitter. And while we're still on the subject of self promotion, I would love it if you could nominate me for best personal style blog, or best fashion blog - newcomer in the Company style blogger awards!
High Street Fashion Week is coming!
At the end of April I will be heading to High Street Fashion Week, a super exciting event showcasing up and coming high street brands and independent retailers. I'm all for new and independent brands and am so excited to have been asked to go and blog about it all!
The event is made up of two parts - a boutique in the world's first pop-up mall - Shoreditch's Box Park- followed by a VIP fashion show at Aura Mayfair. Loads of great brands will be there, but the ones that have really got my blood pumping are Fazane Malik, kiss like daisy (gotta love a turban), Lilies of the Alley and Lili-Marie La Touche Boutique.
Any budding models who aren't represented by an agency and have a love for high street can also apply to be in with a chance to strut their stuff down the catwalk. To apply you must be 18 or over, and all you have to do is email info@highstreetfashionweek.co.uk with your full name, date of birth, mobile number, details of your favourite high street brand, and a recent photograph.
High Street Fashion Week takes place on 26th-28th April; for tickets, go to their website
I hope to see some of you there - let me know if you're going, it would be great to meet some readers!
P.S If you pick up more! magazine this week I'm on page 44!

Jumper: Zara
Necklace: Cinderela B
Skirt: Zara
Bag: J.W. Anderson x Topshop
Trainers: River Island
As promised, an outfit post featuring the skirt that was in my best buys from February post. I'm really into this lime colour at the moment - which is great because I'm starting to see it everywhere! I love that it's quite an unexpected colour, and it really gives outfits a pop.
I got this necklace (plus a couple of other goodies) from Cinderela B after I won their Christmas blogger competition and I've only just realised that I haven't actually shown you any of the pieces that I got. But their jewellery really is gorgeous, especially the one-off vintage pieces!
P.S If you like my style, nominate me for a Company style blogger award!
Company Style Blogger Awards
The Company Style Blogger Awards are back for 2013, and I would absolutely love it if I was nominated. There are a number of categories, but I think my blog would best fit under Best Personal Style Blog or Best Fashion Blog - newcomer.
So if you think this blog deserves a win please nominate me by clicking here
And remember, you can nominate as many blogs as many times as you like!

Best buys: February
I realise we're a few days into March already (where the hell did February go?!) but here are my best buys from last month:
1. Skirt, Zara - Wearing this skirt with absolutely everything at the moment. I can smarten it up for work and jazz it up for play. Bloody loving it. Outfit post to come soon!
2. Necklace, Spitalfields market - You might recognise this necklace from my last post. I love statement necklaces and thought this one was so unusual. I'm so glad I bought it because I feel so glam wearing it - even if it is with a jumper and jeans
3. Refreshing eye roll on, Botanics - Staring at a computer screen all day is not doing anything for my eyes and the dark circles were really starting to make me look haggered (I'm 23 damnit) so I thought it was time to get me an eye roll on. Garnier does funny things to my skin so I went for the Botanics one instead, and although it may all be in my head, I can definitely see the difference!

Dress: Cos
Coat: Zara
Necklace: Spitalfields Market
Bag: Miss Selfridge
Boots: Kurt Geiger
It was my birthday on Thursday and I had such a lovely girly day. I took the day off work, went for a brunch at the breakfast club, a matinee, tea and macarons at Laduree, and dinner and drinks in Covent Garden. I felt completely indulgent the whole day, and wish my days could be like that more often!
