Best buys: July
We're at the end of another month which means my run-down of the best things I've bought. This month I only have one best buy (I love all my purchases but this is the one that's changed my life the most!) and it is Superskin Moisturiser from Liz Earle.
I'm prone to eczema meaning my skin's pretty sensitive and can get quite dry so I'm reluctant to try new products. However, this moisturiser promises to make 'dry skin look and feel rejuvenated and replenished' and boy does it deliver. It feels luxurious, and I can almost feel my skin drinking it up and licking its metaphorical lips the minute I put it on. At £36.25 it has quite a hefty price tag for a moisturiser but I only use a bit at a time so I think it will last me a while...and you can't put a price on great skin!
Have you tried any Liz Earle products before?
Henryka fashion blogger competition
Henryka, an amber and silver jewellery company, has launched a competition for us bloggers to pick our favourite piece from their site with the chance of winning a £100 gift card.
I am obsessed with silver jewellery and normally adorn my fingers with silver rings on a daily basis. Henryka's jewellery is gorgeous - unique (being handcrafted, no two pieces are the same), unusual, yet still classic.
My favourite piece is, you guessed it, this gorgeous ring:

I love the shape, and the colour and cut of the amber looks gorgeous. Being quite a statement ring, I think it would look gorgeous with this LBD from ASOS. I love the embellished straps and flirty swinginess of it - a perfect accompaniment to this ring!
Outfit: Full skirt, backless body
Sunglasses: ASOS
Body: ASOS
Skirt: River Island
Flip flops: Havaianas
This weekend Adam and I wandered up to Alexandra Palace to enjoy the building and surrounding park in the sunshine.
It was so pretty, and this full orange skirt from River Island turned out to be the perfect thing for running through the grass in. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
Lust of the week: & other stories split heel pumps
I'm starting a new weekly feature with the products I'm currently lusting, and ta dah! this is the first instalment.
I love these split heel pumps from & other stories and they look just as good in real life (sometimes I go into the store to look at them and try them on. It's not weird). They're minimalist and unusual at the same, and aren't difficult to walk in. Beautiful.
Outfit: leather top, stripy shorts
Top: Zara
Shorts: In love with fashion
Bag: Zara
Shoes: Zara
Watch: Uniform Wares
Another hot day, another summer's outfit. I'm starting to run out of summery clothes - normally Britain doesn't allow us more than a few days of shorts and sundresses so I never buy too much that won't carry me through our cold months - although it is giving me a good excuse to take advantage of the sales!
I picked this bag and the shoes up in the Zara sale. I love slipper flats and these were a steal at £15.99, and this bag is a (much cheaper) nod to the Jil Sander one that was around last year. I also pinched my boyfriend Adam's Uniform Wares watch (I bought it for his birthday so it's basically mine, right?) I love the classic style and wish they made some for women!
White crochet
Dress: Miss Selfridge
Last week my boyfriend Adam and I packed a picnic and walked up to Hampstead Heath for dinner al fresco. It's so lovely being able to spend so much time outdoors with this great weather and having one of London's greatest parks only a walk away!
I got this dress a couple of summers ago - the long sleeves make it perfect for warm evenings.
Monthly inspiration: July
Images: Pinterest, They All Hate Us
I've decided to start a new feature of some of the things inspiring me that month. With this unseasonable hot weather (we all know 'summer' in the UK means grey, wet rubbishness) I'm having to adapt my style and wardrobe and I'm loving experimenting with a more casual summer style. This means looser fabrics, lighter colours and lots more up-dos!

Cami cool
Cami: Topshop
Jeans: Zara
Wedges: Asos
Sunglasses: Primark
Hope you're all enjoying the heatwave...long may it last! This cami from Toppers is perfect for this kind of weather, I'm thinking of buying a few more in different colours. Another summer staple: white jeans. I picked these up in the Zara sale for about £20 and love the detail on the side.
In other news, you may have noticed that my blog has had a bit of a makeover. The lovely Steph from Bonjour Belle redesigned my blog and I'm so pleased with the result; it's clean and sleek and she did it all within a few days!
Daniel Footwear blogger competition
This week Daniel Footwear have launched a blogger competition, with the prize being a £150 voucher to spend at the online store, plus a beach bag full of holiday essentials.
All you have to do is create a wishlist of your favourite items from the site. There are so many great pieces but I've managed to whittle them down to my three faves:
The competition ends at 2pm on Friday 19th July, for full details click here

Carousel
Dress: Zara
Flats: H&M
Sunglasses: Primark
What a scorcher! I honestly think there's nowhere better to be than the UK when the weather's like this; everyone's so happy and everything looks so pretty. I've spent my weekend lying in the sun, drinking lots of prosecco, having more fun on this old-fashioned carousel (above) than a 23-year-old should, and celebrating a Brit finally winning Wimbledon. Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine!
Orange sun
Dress: Zara
Sunglasses: Primark
Sandals: Asos
Clutch: Topshop
Another look from my holiday in France last week. The colour of this dress makes me so happy and I love the cut outs at the back, hoping for a good British summer so I can bust out some more dresses like this!
Best buys: June
1. Black hat from Topshop. Been crushing on these hats for a while but wasn't sure if I could pull it off. Whether I can it or not, this June I thought: to hell with it! and got this one from Toppers. Outfit post with this bad boy will come soon
2. Anthelios melt-in cream, La Roche Posay. I normally hate putting suncream on my face because it always feels greasy and I get a bit spotty (gross). But this one is really light, non-greasy and hasn't caused a break out...yay!
3. Gold necklace from Asos. This has become the necklace du jour lately; I've been wearing it with everything since I bought it. Definitely a best buy!
