PJs
Personally, I love the pyjama trend, and done well I think it can look so effortless and chic. But where I'm from, the only people who wear pyjamas in public are 15 year-old chavs on their way to the chippy. So, how to embrace a trend and look more cool-fashionista, less teen-mum? This is my take:
Blouse: Zara
Shorts: La Senza
Shoes: Kurt Geiger
Bag: Max C
Watch: Casio
I used pyjama shorts for a different twist on the normal trousers and shirt combo, also making it a perfect look for summer. I incorporated a blouse into the outfit rather than using a pyjama top to avoid it looking too obvious-matchy-pyjama-y, and hopefully making it a bit more public-friendly!
Print and Peplum
Top, trousers and shoes: all Topshop
Jewellery: various gifts and markets abroad
A lot of Topshop love in this outfit! I uploaded this look, and another one that will feature on the blog soon, onto LOOK magazine's 'Look What I'm Wearing' competition. The person with the most 'likes' on an outfit wins a fabulous beauty hamper (and I am in serious need of some new beauty products!). Thanks guys, hugely appreciated!
LA: Day Six
Venice Beach
Swimsuit: American Apparel
Shorts: Old Levis
Back to Venice for some last minute tanning before we go back to England! I bought this swimsuit from American Apparel's factory sale for about $18, and I'm so pleased with it - it's hard for me to find one that fits so well and that has a great style and cut. I'll miss this place!
