Camel at LFW SS17
Top: & Other Stories
Culottes: Zara
Bag: ASOS
Shoes: Topshop
For the first day of London Fashion Week this season I opted for a bit of camel-on-camel. These Zara culottes are complete wardrobe staples for me and are something I bring out time and again. This time I paired them with a silk number I picked up in the & Other Stories sale to create a tonal look, adding classic black accessories to keep it simple.
Grey Velvet Dress at LFW SS17
Dress: Zara
Shoes: Keds
I've just got back from an incredible few days in Milan; a much needed break away filled with far too much pizza and Prosecco - perfect after a busy season at London Fashion Week. This is what I wore on one of the days, opting for pure comfort on a day running around the city. This grey velvet dress from Zara was a steal at £30 but has a real luxe feel to it, plus the wrap-around style makes it nice and loose to wear.
The Hana Tajima x Uniqlo Tunic

Tunic: Hana Tajima x Uniqlo
Trousers: Zara
Sandals: By Malene Birger
I've just got back from a whirlwind trip to London for Fashion Week, going to various shows and events and writing up show reports for Coggles whenever the time allowed for it. It was a great trip but exhausting and now I'm getting ready for a few days in Milan (I can't wait for some great food, shopping and just generally being away from my laptop and the internet).
This is a pre-LFW look I wore whilst out for meetings in Manchester. I bought this Hana Tajima x Uniqlo tunic when the collaboration came out a while ago but for some unknown reason, this is the first time I've actually worn it. It's loose, ridiculously comfortable and can be worn with pretty much anything - expect to see a lot more of it.

I'm currently in the middle of getting ready for London Fashion Week and the SS17 shows (I can't believe how quickly it's all come around again) so before the madness, I'm spending the days leading up to it in my most comfortable pieces. These COS jeans and loose-fitting top have that slightly oversized shape for the ultimate comfort, while the streamlined shapes and additional block heels make the look office-appropriate.
The Rib Knit Dress
Dress: Theory
Trousers: Zara
Shoes: ASOS (similar)
The weather's been a bit all over the place recently, so I've been playing around with different layers to combat the line between hot and cold. Enter my favourite combination: a tunic - or slim-fitting dress - over long, loose culottes. This Theory dress has a rib knit, making it the perfect piece for transitioning into autumn, while the deep rust culottes provide the ultimate contrast.

I could wear black all day, every day - after all, it's a classic for a reason. But, head-to-toe black can become a bit one-dimensional so I tend to play with shapes and silhouettes like this oversized neoprene dress and cropped, wide-leg trousers combination. A hint of colour in the red flats lifts the look further, making it on of my easy go-to looks.
Impractical Dressing in the Lake District
Tunic: COS (similar)
Jeans: ASOS
Trainers: Nike
Last week I headed to the Lake District for some much-needed R&R at The Drunken Duck Inn (take a look at the full post here) and it seems my wardrobe isn't exactly walker-friendly. On the day we arrived, we went straight up the hills behind the Duck and this was the best 'casual walking in the countryside' outfit I could come up with. Turns out the tunic wasn't so practical for the muddy tracks, but then fashion was never meant to be practical.
