Dress: Paisie
Wedges: Asos
Happy bank holiday everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the beautiful weather; so far mine has been spent drinking lots of wine, eating far too much at The Breakfast Club in Angel, getting pink shoulders in the park (must. wear. suncream!), and wearing floaty dresses such as this one.
I picked this dress up from The Laden Showroom on Brick Lane and it has introduced me to a great new brand that I hadn't heard of before. Looking at its website, Paisie has some beautiful pieces...could be dangerous!

Dress: Orion London
Sunglasses: Primark
Flats: Zara
Ring: Gift
I found this dress in a great little shop (website here) in Seven Dials, Covent Garden. All the clothes are beautiful and there are only a few pieces of each item so you feel like you're getting unique! I love the colours, shape aaand it has pockets...perfect for when the sun pops its head out.
The orange lip
My love affair with orange lipstick has been a long and rocky one. I first saw models sporting the orange lip last year and thought it looked fab, but that it would look awful on me. I'm not really a fan of a pale lip on me and normally go for a dark red or purple, plus I just thought orange was a crazy step too far.
However, I couldn't seem to escape images of orange lips and saw it as a sign that I should go out and buy myself some orange lippy. Feeling all positive about my new venture and proud of myself for trying something a bit different, I set off in search of the perfect shade. But boy was it hard.
A few people recommended Revlon lip butter's Tutti Frutti but I just found it too glossy - I prefer a matte finish. Others I found were just too red. Where are all the orange lipsticks people?!
I was feeling very disheartened until I found Orangeade from Models Own on Asos. At only £6 it's the perfect shade and consistency. Matte, but doesn't dry my lips out. I can breathe a sigh of relief.

Gandys flip flops
Top: Whistles
Sunglasses: Primark
Jeans: Zara
Flip flips: c/o Gandys
I love me a good flip flop; they're a firm summer staple in my wardrobe and they were pretty much the only things on my feet when I went travelling last year. I have my Havaianas (who doesn't?) and I love them, but I have seen new brand Gandys pop up more and more recently and the story behind them is inspiring.
Ardent travellers, brothers Rob and Paul set up Gandys after losing both of their parents in the 2004 Tsunami, which gave them a real drive to become a success and also help others in the process; they give 10% of their profits to Mango Tree House in India, which helps give orphans education and healthcare. As their strapline says - they are 'orphans for orphans'.
The flip flops themselves are really comfy, come in a variety of colours and are all named after different destinations around the globe - the ones I'm wearing are Durban green.
They can be found at House of Fraser, Topman Oxford Street, Office, ASOS, and will be coming to Selfridges this summer.
On an unrelated note - for all you single ladies I've seen a pic of the brothers - they're pretty cute aaand have good ethical values!

Tee: H&M
Trousers: Zara
Boots: Kurt Geiger
Blue ring: Gift
Fine rings: Asos
Feels like an age since I did an outfit post but here's the latest! I'm loving these Zara trousers; so comfy and can be dressed up or down. And how cute are these gold rings from Asos? They were only £8 and jazz up your knuckles a treat...I have also taken to wearing a bag chain around my neck and calling it a necklace, as I have done in today's outfit.
Enjoy your weekend lovelies!
