I went to London Fashion Weekend and opted for this double print ensemble (cue lots of pyjama comments from my parents). I would have loved to show you the look fully but it was so cold (those white specs in the photo are drops of snow!) and the thought of taking my coat off was just too much!
I enjoyed the day, although I'm not sure if I'd rush back again. I went last year and loved it, and got some amazing bargains. But there were a lot less stalls this time around and the 'bargains' were still about £200-400. It was a nice day though, even if it was just to look at gorgeous clothes and drink champagne, and Somerset House is beautiful.

Ahh a sunny and slightly warm London! Hoping this is the end to the cold we've been having and I'm really looking forward to longer evenings and not having to bundle up in coats and scarves. These trousers have featured on the blog before but I just love wearing them and thought I'd show them styled slightly differently with heels.
Also just realised that this clutch has featured in the last few outfit posts which just shows how good a buy I think it is. I love clutches for the day and this is big enough to fit all my bits in and it's pretty comfy just shoved under my arm. I feel like I'm neglecting my other bags at the moment but expect to see this a bit more!

I have just got back from a lovely weekend in Paris. Such an amazing city and living in London makes it so easy to hop on the train and pop over for a couple of days. We ate a lot, drank a lot, walked a hell of a lot and (window) shopped. Parfait.
Best buys: January
- Boyfriend jeans from River Island - I wasn't sure about boyfriend jeans for ages. I always thought they looked great on other people but I just wouldn't be able to pull them off. BUT I tried this pair on and kind of bought them on a whim. So glad I did though because I've been living in them this month!
- Naked 2 by Urban Decay - Beauty bloggers have been raving about this palette and for good reason. The colours are beautiful - I can wear the subtler shades for work and mix it up a bit for the weekend/night time...definitely worth the money!
- Botanics Ultra Calm skin serum - After Christmas my skin was so dry and awful. I had a break out of eczema (attractive) which I think was a result of too much boozing over the festive period, and combined with the cold weather, it was in really bad shape. No matter how much I was moisturising, it wasn't making any difference. I'd read good things about serums so bought this one from Boots. It was a lot cheaper than other serums (about £4 I think) and it has seriously worked wonders. After just a few days of using it my skin was a thousand times better and I now use it daily.
- MAC lipstick in Russian Red - perfect red lipstick. Enough said.
