Quite possibly the shortest skirt I've worn in a while but it's summer so let's go with it. Shades of nude always make up a great colour combo at this time of year, with those light tones offsetting sun kissed skin perfectly - a bold red lip adds a little something extra to prevent it from being a total wash out.
In other news, I'm off to Copenhagen Fashion Week today! Excited doesn't quite cut it - I've wanted to go to the city for yeeears and to go and check out the new collections from some of my favourite Danish brands while I'm there is just the icing on the cake. Lust of the Week: Atterley Longline Tunic
A crisp white shirt is a must in every woman's wardrobe (and man's, for that matter). So versatile, you can wear it with pretty much anything and you've instantly got a stylish outfit. I must have about five variations of the white shirt in my wardrobe but that doesn't mean there isn't room for one more, and this one from Atterley provides that little something different. Anything longline is always a winner for me, and I love the stepped hem of this shirt - wear with everything from soft tailored trousers and heeled sandals, to loose fit culottes and sliders.

I didn't think this day would ever come but I think I'm officially over skinny jeans. When I'm not wearing a dress, my bottom half is invariably covered in culottes, wide leg jeans or loose fit trousers and whenever I put my skinnies on I immediately take them off, no longer liking the silhouette they create and tight restrictions on my legs.
Case in point: these bright blue trousers are so comfortable but tailored enough to not be mistaken for pyjamas, and I've been reaching for them more days than I care to admit. This may just be because it's summer and looser fabrics win at this time of year, but after years of them almost being a second skin, I think I'll be hanging up my skinny jeans.

After visiting Myrtos Beach in Kefalonia, we hopped in the car and headed up the coast to Assos, a tiny but gorgeous village on the island. Made up of a small harbour, a few tavernas, and pastel-coloured houses, it was the perfect pit stop for a spot of lunch and a walk up and down the steep streets. I threw on this shirt dress from Atterley, which although got pretty creased in the heat, was the perfect combination of smart, casual and lightweight. This was probably the smallest place we visited on the island but definitely the most picturesque - and worth a visit if you're on Kefalonia!

This look is one of my office go-tos at the moment; it's really easy to just throw on in the morning, it creates an interesting silhouette and the sleeveless duster adds just the right amount of smart and tailored (plus it breaks up my uniform of all-black). I've been wearing this duster so much since it arrived - it goes with pretty much everything and always gives my outfits that little something extra (at £20, you can't really go wrong!)
