This tunic is one of the best things I've bought in a while; only about £15, it completely updates a pair of trousers or culottes and adds a dramatic element to any outfit. I wore this for a night out in York a couple of weeks ago and it went down a treat, with my friends totally shocked that both pieces were from Boohoo - plus, it makes a nice change from a dress or leather-pants-and-top combo.

This is a go-to outfit for me at the moment when the sun's out, perfect for both the office and the weekend when I'm sick of wearing my skinny jeans. I love that this top is seemingly plain at the front but has this added detail in the back, creating a completely different silhouette. In fact, everything that COS does is amazing in my eyes - real minimal pieces that have a little somethin' about them - I'll be raiding the Regent Street store the next time I'm in London! 

Mango Cotton Dress

I've been checking to see if Mango has my size in this dress on a daily basis because I. am. obsessed. Super simple, it has a great cut and I can imagine it becoming my go-to dress this summer. It's also the kind of dress that could be worn with sliders for day and a pair of strappy heels in the evening. Come on Mango, get some size 8s!

This is an outfit that kind of came around by accident (aren't those ones the best?) when I was getting ready for work one morning and found that tucking the back of my jumper into my skirt created a lumpy bulge that was not cute. Luckily, this jumper has slits down either side so I left the back out and ended up with a nice bit of layering (and you know I love my layers). Talking of which, I've been wearing these gold necklaces together quite a lot recently - I like that they're both really delicate and have similar shapes and add a bit of something extra to an outfit.

This is a combination I find myself wearing quite a lot - it's that time of year when I really want to wear my summer clothes but most days it's too cold to go the whole hog, so layering up different pieces is the only answer. I've paired it with my beautiful new platforms from & Other Stories (actually really comfortable too) which is how I wear this outfit for evening, but I've been wearing it with pointy flats for day too.
