Last weekend I spent a few days up in the North East for a bit of rest, relaxation and a heavy dose of food (make sure you go to the Bay Horse if you're ever near Darlington...we had the most incredible meal there). It was cold, in that fresh biting way that October in that part of the world always is, so my suitcase was made up of those autumnal favourites: roll neck jumper, long tailored coat and fresh white Vans for walking along the beach in.
